Product Analyst

The Product Analyst is responsible for defining and executing product requirements and provides industry expertise and insights into the product development process. Delivering against ResMan’s strategic product roadmap, Product Analysts balance priorities to continuously enhance ResMan’s SaaS based multifamily management products. Product Analysts dive into technical issues, breaking down complex problems into steps that drive product development in a timely manner.

In this role, the Product Analyst will be focused on ResMan Websites, our proprietary marketing content management system that helps property management companies launch modern, differentiated, and high-conversion online leasing experiences. Ideal candidates have a background in product management, marketing websites, digital marketing, proven innovation skills, the ability to be a catalyst for change in a matrixed environment, and experience with B2B and B2C products.

  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from internal and external stakeholders
  • Translate product priorities into actionable, clearly communicated product stories for software engineering
  • Act as user champion when coordinating product development with business stakeholders and align all development activity with business goals and priorities
  • Serve as the central resource with design, development, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution
  • Partner with the ResMan Websites implementation team to identify and scope custom features required to launch customer websites
  • Manage the product backlog (grooming, prioritization and refinement), working day-to-day with the product team to clarify requirements, balance business needs with technical requirements, and recommend alternative technical approaches to meet design requirements when needed
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, implementation, training and support on the development of product positioning, demo design, training courses, sales collateral, knowledge base articles, etc. to ensure that business objectives are achieved
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational online workshops and reviewing professional publications
  • Participate in product testing and certification activities 
  • Assist in daily management of support issues and feature requests escalated to product team
  • Assist with identifying and solving design flaws and issues
  • Write clear and concise release notes and knowledge base articles for new features and product releases


  • 1-2+ years of professional experience in software roles, including Product management / Product marketing, Product design / Product development, Technical Project management or equivalent experience leading design & development teams at an agency or a fast-paced tech-startup
  • Experience in multifamily property management a plus, but not required
  • Passionate about product and customer experience
  • Ability to read, comprehend and abstract product requirements
  • Ability to design detailed user stories with valid acceptance criteria for discussion with development and future enhancements
  • Working knowledge of software technical issues (e.g., configuration, integration, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of responsive web design trends, web technologies, content management systems (CMS’) and SEO best practices
  • Understanding and experience in UI/UX best practices
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills
  • SCRUM / Agile Methodologies experience preferred
